Great Nokia

Nokia E71 Smartphone

Tagged as the successor to the similarly shaped E61, the Nokia E71 is indeed a veritable improvement in so many ways. The form factor alone trumps the old. The E71 feels ultimately tough and robust while dressed to kill in chrome metal. It looks professional and feels expensive. But despite the heavy metal impression, the E71 weighs a mere 127g. The size is noticeably smaller than the E61 too. The plus point means that it’s now more pocket-able and looks less chunky. But the natural detraction is the smaller QWERTY keypad which loyal E61 users will definitely moan about. We feel it’s still manageable. The best positive notion is in fact the better build of the keypad, which is now more rigid allowing you to feel every button press with a responsive click.

T-Mobile gets Nokia XpressMusic 5310

T-Mobiles no stranger to Nokia XpressMusic series of funky little music phones, and the tradition continues today with the introduction of the 5310. This colorful candybar has some pretty solid street cred as a viable music player, too, with a microSD slot, svelte 9.9mm body and — most importantly — a real 3.5mm jack for the headphones of your choosing. You’ve also got a 2 megapixel camera and a QVGA display to play with, both of which’ll surely come in handy for entertainment while you’re waiting for data to pull down over the EDGE radio (sorry, T-Mobile, we couldn’t help ourselves). It’ll run $49.99 on contract starting May 28 in black with your choice of purple, orange, or red accents.

Morgan LIFEcar

"A concept car with zero emission and also fun to drive.” That’s what the British said. Who say going green is boring? The new architectural design helps reduce fuel consumption and may create a new trend for the future."

Fiat 500 Abarth

A safe approach to sport cars. This sporty style car looks more like a mini-van then a sport car. It is targeted toward the old folks who want to drive a sport car but it’s too afraid of the power. I’ll pass on this one.

Bentley Continental GTZ(2008)

Alfa Romeo Bertone BAT 11

This supercar is based on the Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione high-performance coupe. B.A.T., which stands for Berlinetta Aerodinamica Tecnica (aerodynamic technical Berlinetta in English). They haven’t really create the interior for this yet. Maybe they will give this car to Bruce Wayne as a gift or to those of you who want to become a superhero.

Gemballa Avalanche GTR 800 EVO-R

This new supercar is the latest upgrade of the Porsche 911 Turbo, extreme tuning takes the Flat-6 turbocharged engine to 850 hp. . The 911 Turbo engine has been replaced with a bigger one of 3.8L and replaced the standard blow dryers with a pair of Garret T035 turbos. Not sure how much this piece of machine will cost yet, but it will definitely be up there among one of the most expensive cars due to it performance.

Mazda Furai Concept

Mazda Furai, Japanese for ‘Sound of the wind’. People generally equate Mazda with cheap, this car is here to prove them wrong. This looks more like a drunken Batmobile than a regular sport car.

2009 Bentley Continental GTC Speed

The introduction of 2009 Bentley Continental GTC Speed describes Bentley’s style of designing a luxurious convertible car. The GTC is manufactured in a perfect design, advanced technology and comfort. The car is more strengthened by adding 600bhp, which is also considered as the most powerful convertible car.

Car Of Britney Spears

This is my very first post on this blog and im going to start off with the pop-princess gone bad. With the kind of money that she has been making in the last decade, its not very hard to imagine what girls like her drive.

She has been known to drive alot of GREAT cars, take note, GREAT cars! Well, this one is not an exception to that. The Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren is a rear-wheel-drive 5.5L supercharged V8 beast that can do 0-100 kph (0-60 mph) in 3.6 seconds. Very toxic indeed! It costs over $400,000 US. Not as much wow factor as the original McLaren F1 road car, but still quite tidy.

Mitsubishi EVO, Lexus IS-F

Detroit Auto Show, New Cars, Lexus, Nissan, BMW, GM, Infiniti

2007 brought a lot of exciting products and it's been a great time to be a car buyer with so many great cars available.

And, the market has been soft, so you have been able to negotiate some great deals on what's out there.

Plus, there are so many great models on the horizon.

Automakers Step Back As Lexus No Longer Touts Hybrids As Gas Savers

Automakers are starting to turn away from the notion of the performance hybrid, the term coined to market gas-electric vehicles based on extra pep instead of fuel thriftiness.

Instead of just emphasizing performance, Toyota's luxury Lexus division plans to hawk its high-end hybrid vehicles as being better for the environment because they pollute less than rival brands.

Cadillac Provoq concept covers futuristic powertrain

Just because it has rocket science under the hood doesn't mean Cadillac's Provoq fuel-cell concept wouldn't look as if it belongs in your garage today.

The Provoq crossover, which General Motors is unveiling on Tuesday at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas and will bring to the Detroit auto show next week, uses General Motors' E-Flex powertrain from the Chevrolet Volt concept.

Roofless new Lexus

The lid has been lifted on the Lexus LF-A as visitors to the Detroit Show have been treated to a drop-top version of the Japanese supercar. Based on the existing Coupé, it promises 200mph wind in the hair thrills.

Called the Roadster it shares most of its carbon-fibre body panels with the hardtop model. However, there have been some changes to the rear - the most obvious being new wraparound tail lights. Another addition is an active spoiler that keeps the LF-A stable at speed.

Green Tech and Road Candy

It was tough to focus on all the new vehicles at the North American International Auto Show when so much of the show-stand conversations seemed to be about falling sales, the nose-diving economy, and the 2008 Presidential election. Three White House candidates even showed up at the show during the press preview, which coincided with the Michigan primary.
